Andrew Hannah had migrated from Clyde Scotland to Canada, where he and his wife Catherine Morrison raised a family. In the year of 1870 three of his children were reported in the city of Port Huron by the United States Census. John Hannah & Wife Elizabeth and brothers Andrew and William. John and his wife Elizabeth Shopia Schroder moved to Bay County where they started their family. After the premature death of her husband, Mrs. Hannah returned to St. Clair County.

The Turner Family
The Turner Family came to Michigan in 1835.  They initially settled in Detroit then to Stoney, Creek, and from there to Pontiac, Saginaw and Bay City.  The Turners were involved in the lumbering business and Captain George Turner was the Bay City Engineer.
