The Davis Family Cemetery is located  west of the No. 3 tee on Tomac Golf Course which is between Albion and Marshall on 26 1/2 Mile Rd. just north of I-94.  Several members of the Davis family are buried at Albion's Riverside cemetery.

DAVIS, Gardner; 1805 - 1860.  Came to Michigan in 1836; son/ Simeon & Martha; wife #1 Mary Reed, #2 Eliza Peabody.

DAVIS, Jesse S; 20 y, died 08 Feb 1859. Son/ Reuben Davis & Martha Holbrook, b 1832 in NY.

DAVIS, Lemuel;  1y 1m 13 da, died 04 Oct 1855.  Son of G. & E. Davis [Gardner Davis & Eliza Peabody?].

DAVIS, Loyal; 17y 7m, died 09 Nov 1850.  Son of Reuben Davis & Martha Green Holbrook.

DAVIS, Martha Green nee Holbrook (Mrs. Reuben); 20 July 1794  - 18 Sep 1850.  56y 2m born Green Mts.,  VT, wed Reuben 10 Aug 1820; 1836 from N. Bangor, NY area to Calhoun Co., MI

DAVIS, Mary nee Peabody (Mrs. Gardner); 42y died 16 Feb 1851.  1st wife of Gardner, (son of Simeon and Mary Jane Davis).  In 1836 family came to  Sheridan, Calhoun Co., MI.  Children:  Delis, 1838, Deborah, 1841, Charles, 1846 [& William? b 1851].
