Notes from the Homer Index

"First Issue, a live local newspaper, $1.50 a year, published every Wednesday by J.H. Wickwire & Co., office over J.W. Ott's grocery"

And a newspaper was born!  These abstracted notes from the Homer Index contain a tremendous amount of genealogical data.  Weddings, births and deaths, social events and business news are noted.

This work was compiled by Mary Althaver, who also donated her efforts on the Homer Index to Births, Marriages and Deaths and Fisher and Fairview Cemeteries.
