Mrs. John Wickman left Thursday for Drummond to spend a few days with her parents.

John Pretty of this place spent a few days of last week in Elsaville on business.

John Wickman killed a strange looking deer. It was short and thick set, and had a very short tail. Its horns were the most peculiar of all, being turned down along the eyes. Old hunters say they never saw anything like it before.

Mrs. S.A. Wickman has returned from St. Joseph, where she visited friends and relatives.
