visited his daughter, Mrs. John Wickman, while on his way to spend the
winter
Charles Slocum and family
have moved to Elsaville to spend the winter.
Mrs. John Wickman left Thursday
for Drummond to spend a few days with her parents.
John Pretty of this place
spent a few days of last week in Elsaville on business.
John Wickman killed a strange
looking deer. It was short and thick set, and had a very short tail. Its
horns were the most peculiar of all, being turned down along the eyes.
Old hunters say they never saw anything like it before.
Mrs. S.A. Wickman has returned
from St. Joseph, where she visited friends and relatives.
George Cook is slowly recovering
from his illness
James Flynn is sawing lumber
when he can get logs enough to run. He has a promising plant for custom
work.
Michael Flynn is building
a new house.
