The Flint Genealogical Society has published a number of cemetery books. While primarily for Genesee County, some also cover a few cemeteries in the surrounding counties of Lapeer, Livingston, Oakland, Saginaw, Shiawassee & Tuscola. Most of the books contain readings for more than one cemetery. A description of each publication can be found on FGS Publications.

As a convenience to aid in research, immediately below is an index of all names in Volume 1 through 22 of our cemetery publications (Over 74,000 names). The listing for each name includes a column titled "CEM_NO" that indicates which cemetery and book the name appears in. Take note of this Reference Number for any name(s) of interest, then refer to the table on the Main Cemetery Index page to determine the name and location of the cemetery and which publication contains the related record. The specific publication can then be consulted locally wherever available or purchased for personal use. Ordering instructions, too, can be found on FGS Publications.

Please Note: The information in Books 1 - 22 of our Cemetery Publications is taken from the personal notes of Merle Gilbert Perry, Jr (1921-1980). His readings were taken from 1961 to 1965, therefore they DO NOT contain any later burials than 1965. Our later publications contain more recent data.
