THIS INDENTURE made the Twentyth day of Aprill Anno Dom: one thousand
seven hundred & Sixteen Between ROBERT REYNOLDS of ye County of Richmond
of ye oen pt and PETER DARBY of ye sd: County of ye other part; Witnesseth
that ROBERT REYNOLDS in consideration of Five Shillings of lawfull money
of England him in hand paid; by these p:sents doth bargaine and sell unto
PETER DARBY Fifty acres of land more or less with the Buildings thereupon
and all other appurtenances wt:soever to ye Fifty acres of land scituate
in ye County aforesd: & bounded; Beginning wth: ye line of WM: STONE
running along ye MILL ROAD & thence joining on ye line of JAMES TUNE
and thence along ye line of MILLION GLASCOCK & thence by ye line of
ye sd: MILLION GLASCOCK to ye place where it first begun, and all houses
orchards & comodities belonging; To have and to hold ye sd: Fifty acres
of land during the term of one whole year paying therefore the Rent of
one year of Indian Corn on the Feast day of the Birth of our Lord God next
ensueing if lawfully demanded to the intent yt. by virtue of these p:sents
& of ye Statute for transferring uses into possession ye sd: PETER
DARBY may be in ye actual possession of ye p:misses & thereby enabled
to accept a grant of ye Inheritance thereof; In Witness whereof ye Sd:
parties have interchangeably sett their hands & seals ye day &
year first above written

Att a Court held for Richmond
County the First day of August 1716
ROBERT REYNOLDS came into Court and acknowledged
this his Deed of Release unto PETER DARBY which was admitted to Record;
also FRANCES REYNOLDS, Wife of the said ROBERT REYNOLDS, appeared in Court
and relinquished her right of Dower in the Land conveyed in this Deed unto
the said PETER DARBY, which was also admitted to Record Test M. BECKYITH,
