Page 639. Nov 29, 1740 from Ann Goad of North Farham Parish in Richmond County, seamstress, to Peter Goad of same, planter, for 2400 pounds of lawful tobacco & for divers other good causes, all that parcel of land which descended to her from her father, Wm Goad, bounded by the lands of Dominick Newgent, the land which Capt George Glacock [Glascock] purchased of David Fowler, the land of Thomas Bryant, Major Leroy Griffin, & the lands now in the possession of the said Peter and Abraham Goad, his brother, containing about 100 acres in North Farham Parish in Richmond County, & all improvements adjoining. Signed - Ann (X her mark) Goad.
