Att a Court hold for Richmond County the 7th day of Decombr: 1704

Upon the Petition of JAMB INGO, JNO: INGO, WILLIAM SMOOT, ABRAHAM GOURD & RICHD. FOWLER, ordered that WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, PETER ELMORE and ROBERT PALMER be summoned by the Sheriff of this County or his Deputy to meet upon the Land that formerly belonged to Mr. SAMLL. GRIFFIN, lying neare the head of FARNHAM CREEKE sometime between this and the next Court and do then and there give theire evidence to the best of theire knowledge where the first beginning corner tree of the said Land formerly stood, it now being downs and gone, Capt. JOHN TARPLEY is requested to administer an Oath to the persons aforesaid for theire true discovery of the place aforesaid vho are required to report the same to the said next Court under theire hands in writing
