Goad, Mrs; 45, died 6 Oct 1895 of heart disease.  Under Dark's Mill News in paper dated 17 Oct 1895:  Mrs Goad died Sunday of heart disease; came here from Williamson County; had daughter Mrs. Chandler who died and Mrs Goad cared for children; buried Lasting Hope.

Goad, David; died Friday, age 49, of paralysis; wife and daughter survive; buried Rose Hill; died 24 Feb 1899; paper dated 2 Mar 1899

Goad, Florence, 17 months; died 26 Oct 1895, of teething.

Goad, Mrs J. E. of Union City died, had been married 3 days; sister-in-law of J. C. Goad; paper dated 23 Sept 1897.

Goad, Joel, 73, died Tuesday; bur. Hughes Cemetery near Timmons, paper dated 31 Mar 1898; another paper says died 29 Mar 1898 of Bright's disease.

Goad, Joshua, 65, died 1 Feb 1895 of consumption.

Goad, (Mrs. Josie McGrew) 80, former wife of late John M. Goad, died suddenly at home of daughter Mrs. E. J. Crane on West 10th St; native of Columbia; survived by daughter, Mrs. Crane, sister Mrs. Tennessee Gray of West Helena, Ark, 2 granchildren, Billie Crane and Glyn Sheppard, Columbia; funeral service in Little Rock at first Nazarene Church; bur. Pine Crest Memorial Park in Little Rock; Columbia Herald 25 Mar 1949

Goad, Robert, died 20 Sept 1888, Tennessee Colony, Anderson County, Texas, age 62; born Maury Co., Tn; came to Texas before war;  confederate soldier; Lt., member Co. K; wife and four children survive.

Goad, Sackie, wife of John C. died 20 Jan 1895 at 3 a.m. of consumption; Cumberland Presbyterian; husband and 6 children survive; Knob Creek  News

Goad, infant of Thomas Goad buried Sat. at family burying ground on L. C. Timmons farm; its mother died 5 weeks ago, paper dated 6 Aug 1891
