Sullivan County May session 1801 the Execution of the within deed is acknowledged in open court by Francis H. Gaines party there to let it be registered Test Mather Rhea Clk. of sd. County
Feb 24th then Regs. 1803 Know all men by these presents that Margaret Goad of Cawbens County & State of Tennessee for & in consideration of the sum of 240 dollars to me in
hand well & truly paid by Michael Stier of the Coun ty of Sullivan & State aforesaid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge hath bargained & sale
& by these presents do bargain & sell unto sd. Michael Stier a certain parcel or tract of land containing a 100 acres or more or less lying & being in the County of
Sullivan on little Horse Creek beginning at the corner of Benjamin Merits old line thence along the knobs of P Creek south fifty three west 124 poles to a corner
The gar tree thence & own the Continental line to the Back line thence north 63 deg. & East 140 poles to a stake on Merits line thence along said Morris line south 10 poles to the beginning together with all
1000 of waters mines minerals herdeterments & apperton enances to sd. land belonging or assertaining to have & to hold unto the sd. Michael Stir his heirs Exetr. Admr. assigns forever to the performance of which
I lend myself & Extr & Adms unto the Michael Stier his heirs Extr. Admr & assigns firmly by these presants in witness whereof I set my hand & seal this 15th day may in the year of our Lord 1802.
