This day of the Commissioners heretofore appointed to review lay of and work a road from near the dry hollow, passing down the Caney fork and near
Col. Ross's farm returned their report of the same which is ordered to be established - And thereupon it is ordered that Graham Jackson be appointed Overseer thereof from Thomas Shockleys to the intersection of Ross's ferry road
and that he open and keep the same in repair as the law requires, and that Joseph Cummings Esqr. assign a list of hands to work thereon, and that the old road be discontinued. Issdby Court that David Jackson be appointed overseer
of the road from Thomas Shockleys to Robert Gamble and keep the same in repair as the law requires, and that Nicholas Gillentine Esqr. assign a list of hands to work thereon and that said list so assigned said Overseer return here
in Court on the first day of the next term. Issd |
