From Ken Haas: 3/2/2001:Abraham married Mary Bishop - a license was taken out (in fact, two, a year apart) but I do not think they ever married. Abraham may have died not too long later
Joshua of Maury County - his bride was Emily GRANT. Robert Goad, Jr. of Maury married Polly MAHON, not Mabee. There is a possibility the name was really McMahan as that family was closely connected with the Goad
neighborhood families on Rutherford Creek in Maury County. William H. married Sarah Wilbourn (Wilburn). She was a young widow with three children and her before-marriage name was Beashears. Interestingly, this couple
was the ancestors of the wife of John Perry Alderman, late brilliant Goad researcher in Carroll County, Virginia. John was a Goad descendant in Carroll and he met his Goad-related wife at the University of Kentucky. Peter Goad (Goard) who married Dice Smith is the son of Stephen and Rachel (Smith) Goad. Rachel , Peter and other chilren of Rachel went on to Warrick County, Indiana but Stephen had died in White County,
