Date: 1976 Information on back of family group sheet:
- Sullivan County, Tennessee land deeds - Lewis witnessed a deed in 1795.
- Christian County, Kentucky - 10 May 1803, Lewis surveyed 100 acres on Pond River.
- Christian County tax lists 1804 - 1820
- Lewis lived in Christian County and his brothers lived in Hopkins County. All were on the Pond River which was the boundary between the two counties.
- Kentucky Land Grants West of the Green River Issued to Vetereans of the Indian Wars, Book 5, page 158 - 1803, 120 acres, Lewis Goad
- Tax records, July 29, 1809 - Lewis Goard 125 acres on McFarlin Fork of Pond River, 1 male over 21, 4 horses.
- Hopkins County Deeds, Book 4 p 121; 19 October 1822 Wm Stanley sued Lewis Goad and the estate of John Walker. Lewis Goad was security for land bond after the death of John Walke, his father-in-law.

These family group sheets are from the work of the late Wanda June Goad Worland. Many of them originated from other researchers. However, almost all of the handwriting is June’s and she certainly added added her own notes, in many instances continuing on the back of the sheet and on additional sheets.
Since the group sheets here represent the work and collection of June Worland, no corrections of errors in her work will be made. However, I will add additional clarifying information as notes to be exhibited with the group sheet with proper citation to the originator of the clarifying information.
With one exception, no information other than names from family group sheets will be posted on the internet for anyone born after the year of the most recently released United States census, currently 1920. The single exception is for information for individuals who are deceased.
