4. She died Bef. 18245. He married (2) SUSANNAH HOOD November 12, 1824 in Maury Co., TN6. She was born 1746, and died 1830. Notes:

p. 110 On July 23, 1810 Robert Goard was appointed an Ensign in the 27th militia regiment in
Maury County (was this Robert or Robert, Jr.?) p. 112
Robert , Sr.,... added a somewhat sensational footnote in the 1820s when, at the age
of 82, he married Susannah Hood. The bondsman was appropriately a Mr. Dove!
The blushing bride was said to have been age 78.
