KNOW ALL MEN that I THEOPHILIS WHEELE for a consideration by me in hand
received do hereby to have sold from me and my heirs forever unto WILLIAM
 JEWELL his heirs and assigns forever all my right & interest to a tract of land

 formerly belonging unto STUBBLE STUBBLESTON alienne and after the decease of the said STUBBLESTON escheated to me THEOPHILUS WHEELE and to me granted by the Right Honble Sr. WILLIAM BERKELEY Knt & Governor of Virginia as by the Grant may & doth appear Now Know yee that I the sd Theophilus Wheele with Consent of ELIZABETH my Wife doe hereby acknowledge to have sold all the right that I now have in the sd premises or that hereafter I may chance to have from me and my heirs forever unto WILLIAM JEWELL his heirs and assigns forever in as large manner to all intents as it was to me granted by sd Sr. WILLIAm BERKELEY Knt. obliging myself to acknowledge this my act and deed at any Court that shall be holden for Rappa County at the reasonable request of the sd WILLIAM JEWELL & for confirmation hereof I have set my hand and seale the 30th of March 1674
