KNOW ALL MEN that I THOMAS GOULDMAN doe by these pntes give unto EDWARD WEST the Sonne of EDWARD WEST Deced Two hundred acres of land & to MARY WEST the Daughter of the sd WEST Two hundred acres both of which pcells I give out of that Tract lyeing upon HOSKINS CREEKE (out of that Pattent of Myne for

 twelve hundred and odd acres) adjoyning to the land of HENRY AWBRY also I give unto the two aforemenconed children three cows & a heifer & all female Increase that shall arise therefrom to bee Equally divided between them as soon as either of them shall attaine their lawfull yeares or else marry which shall first happen & in case of the aforesd children shall chance to depart this world before they come to age or marry then the Heifer of the Cattell & their increase together wth halfe the land before expressed to fall to the now Mother of the sd Children to bee disposed of as shee shall thinke fitt provided shee shall not give it away from my children for the confirmacon heerof theerunto sett my hand & seal this 4th day of May Ano 1669
   
The heifer hath an overkeele on the Left Eare & a cropp & slitt on the Right which Record for the chudrens marke
