In a portrayal of Corporal Martin Stafford of Niles, a soldier in the Second Michigan Volunteer Infantry, Bob Myers will relate his experiences from Bull Run to Vicksburg from a common soldier's viewpoint.

Bob Myers is the curator of the history center at courthouse Square in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He holds an MA degree in history from Western Michigan University and has published numerous books and articles on Michigan history. He lives in St. Joseph, where he and his wife are restoring an 1892 Queen Anne house.

Bob Myers was the speaker at the KVGS September 2007 program, where he spoke on The Common Soldier in the American Revolution. He was one of the most popular speakers we have ever had. Don't miss this meeting!
