- May 19 - Program to Examine What's Hot and What's Not in Antiques
If you like antiques and would like to know what will be most profitable to buy and sell
in the coming years, check out MAHS' May 19 public program. Janet Swope, founder of
the antique/design studio Pineapple House in Saline, will speak on this subject, drawing
from more than 20 years in the Business. Learn how to recognize the treasures among the
trash and how to talk to dealers from somebody on the inside. Swope's talk is scheduled
for 7:30 p.m. at the Community House at 50 Neckel Court. (This is the old white mill
across from the Milan Senior and Community Activity Center.) The program is free;
please bring a friend or family member.
Before the May 19 antiques program, MAHS will host a new member reception
starting at 7 p.m. If you're a new member, please join us for refreshments.
If you're a returning member, please come and welcome the new people to our
organization!
