Did you attend one of our state's one-room schoolhouses, or just have a love for the
quaint little structures in our rural landscape? Either way, you may appreciate
hearing about an organization that seeks to preserve Michigan's remaining country schools.
The Michigan One-Room Schoolhouse Association hosts a yearly conference on the state
of one-room schools, is conducing a survey to determine how many still survive, and
offers suggested readings on the subject.
