The Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Milan Post 274 Lucius Taylor was organized on September 22, 1884 with 29 charter members being mustered in.

In some of the history books that I have seen the post is noted as being Post 325 which is incorrect.

Ken Baumann, the vice-president of the historical society and a civil war buff has promised to work on a list of the members of this post over the winter (2005 - 2006). Here are a few members that I have found in the History books.
