Interested if there are descendents of George POMEROY and wife Ethel of Ludington. Ethel was alive in 1954, as she was the informant on her sister's death record. Sister was Mary E. GALE of Williamsburg, MA. Have no other information, other than the fact that Ethel POMEROY's maiden name was SMITH, and she was probably born in Ontario.

Searching for information on Sarah Ann BROWN, born 1848, daughter of John BROWN and Ann HART (reportedly from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area, although I believe that Ann was born in New York state). Sarah Ann BROWN was married in Holland, Ottawa County, MI on 17 Mar 1866 to Charles WOLF. They later lived in Scottville, Mason County, MI, where she died in 1920. Charles WOLF was born in 1839 in Stolpe, Prussia and became a naturalized US citizen in 1895 in Ludington, Mason County, MI.In later years they changed the spelling of their surname to WOLFE. If anyone has access to the 1850 Michigan census for Ottawa County, I would like to know whether John BROWN and Ann Hart BROWN were living in the Holland area at that time, their ages, and whether there were any other siblings. Thank you very much for your help. Mary Hitt in Murrysville (Westmoreland County), PA Searching WOLF, GERMOND, BROWN, HART, FITZWATER, PHILLIPS
