Ferdinand Willard LUCHENE was born in Italy in November 1835 to ? LUCHENE and married Susan (NOTTINGHAM) LUCHENE in 1883
. Susan was born in Nottingham, England in August 1837.
I have heard from older relatives that they are buried in or near Freesoil.
There was a Sarah Jane NOTTINGHAM who married Peter Jacob LUCHENE in Muskegon, seems like a good chance they might have been related.
They had three other children known to me: Nancy (BAXTER), Sarah (SCHREUR), John LUCHENE. |
Any names and dates will be appreciated.

WELCH. Jacob WELCH (1830-1898) operated a hardware and farm implement business in Scottville during
the 1880s. He and his wife, Cornelia (WILSON) WELCH, lived first in Amber, then moved to Scottville about the mid-1880s.
Their sons, William U. and Noah Wilson WELCH (the latter was my grandfather) worked in the business with their father.
Does anyone have any information or material from the J. WELCH Hardware & Farm Implement business, including letterheads, invoices, envelopes, photographs, etc., etc.?
Jacob sold the business and the family moved to St. Louis, Gratiot County, in about 1890.
