Let's Talk ... Genealogy is an informal series of meetings specially designed for researchers who cannot attend daytime genealogy meetings. Discussions are held on various topics and attendees share their experiences and brick walls. Genealogists with all levels of experience, especially novices, are welcome to participate.

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
in the Local History & Genealogy Room of the Mount Clemens Public Library

We'll take a look and discuss a few of the these tonight so you can see how they compare and differ.

Dead Ends: A Brainstorming Session for Ideas
We all have a dead end or two in our trees. Bring in a short summary of your problem and we as a group will discuss and hopefully come up with ideas to break thru that problem. Everyone bring your creative thinking caps tonight.

Cemetery Research
We'll learn and share what records (beyond tombstones) might exist and how to locate them. Also, we'll share what each of us pack in our cemetery tool kits.
