On Tuesday last occurred the death of Elizabeth, wife of Thomas Doyle, age 48 years. Mrs. Doyle has been a sufferer from consumption for many years, and for nearly a year past has been confined to her bed. She was born at Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and came to this city as a child. In June 1858, she married Mr. Doyle, who, with six of seven children live to survive her. She was a woman with rare qualities of minds, and as a mother and wife, was loved and respected. She was widely known and universally respected, and her death will be severely mourned. The funeral services were held at St. John’s church yesterday morning.
