Looking for any information on TRYON relations known to have been living in Montcalm Co, MI. All desc of Abel TRYON who was b. Noyan, QC c1799, d. 1886 in Mooers, Clinton Co, NY. Son Myron M. TRYON b. 1831 married Martha (TRYON?) in Ionia Co in 1866, m. Nancy ? 1876 in Montcalm Co. In 1880 they resided Day Township. Son Stillman Lewis TRYON b. c1830 died before 1886 MN. He had a son Melvin/Melville b. 1858 NY who died 1882 in day Township, aged 24 yrs. Grandson Myrol? Lewis (s/o Stillman Lewis) b. c1853 NY, m. Elizabeth Luzetta ?, they are buried in Edmore, Montcalm Co, MI. Other TRYONs were buried in Vinewood Cemetery, Edmore.

Searching for the family of Celia O. PECK who married D. Henry FRASE who came to Montcalm County from Ohio in the late 1890's. Celia was the mother of Carrie Leona FRASE who died of pneumonia in 1918 aged 2 years. Celia and Henry later divorced and she remarried a Mr. LEE and moved to Flint. She now rests in Vestaburg cemetary. Any further information to D. Henry FRASE's sons and grandchildren would be appreciated.

I know Alexander MCMILLON lived in Michigan and his father was John MCMILLON and was born in Ohio somewhere. and his dad was Robert MCMILLON also from Ohio. My family tree starts with Gordon MCMILLON, his dad was Cloid MCMILLON and his dad was Alexander MCMILLON and his dad was John MCMILLON and his dad was Robert. Can use some help if possible.

I am searching for the relatives/kin of Celia PECK who was married to David Henry FRASE and mother of Carrie Leona FRASE. Her parents were Arthur and Mary Peck presumably from the Cedar Lake area as was Henry. Henry and Celia later divorced. She now rests along side her daughter at the Vestaburg cemetary. I am a grandson of Henry and I am curious and I am trying to fill in some holes. I never met my grandfather (who died in an accident while working at Buick in Flint). I have some pictures of Carrie's headstone and death certificate as well as her obituary, that the Gratiot County so kindly provided upon my query. Please contact me.

I am looking for the family of Celia PECK who resided in Montcalm County and was married to D. Henry FRASE and mother to Carrie Leona FRASE. Parents were Arthur and Mary PECK. Henry and Celia later divorced, after the death of their young daughter due to pneumonia, and she later remarried ? LEE. Can anyone fill in the holes like when and where was the divorce and the reason for the granting. Does anyone have any pictures. I am the grandson of D. Henry FRASE.

John P. PIFER and Phebe RUMMER (daughter of Byron RUMMER and Julia Ann SHERWOOD - sister to Anson RUMMER) moved into Michigan supposedly from New York. One known child born to them was George Riley PIFER born on May 07, 1855 in Michigan. He first married Ida RETTINGER and had one son named Walter L. PIFER. Walter married Ellnora COOK. Ida died and George PIFER married Emily Sophia STOWELL HARRINGTON (daughter of Robert STOWELL and Mary SMITH) on August 31, 1887, in Montcalm Co., Michigan. Emily was the widow of John HARRINGTON. George and Emily had issue: Elga Laverne PIFER, (b. 1888 Albert Donald PIFER, (b. 1892 George Arlington PIFER,(b. 1895 Arlene and Arwin PIFER (twins) (b. 1898 Looking for ancestors of George PIFER (and his father John PIFER) as well as the RUMMER line. Would love to hear from descendants of all mentioned as well. Possible sibings of George PIFER are: Edwin, Charles, Will and Emma.
