Christmas on the Grand

November 2010 Gerald R. Ford Museum Christmas on the Grand

The Michigan State Society U.S.D.1812 decorated a tree for the second year at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Members from General Alexander Macomb and Stephen Preston Chapters enjoyed a fun morning of decorating followed by lunch paid for by our State President H. Werner. Thanks to everyone who helped and we hope you get a chance to visit the museum to see all the wonderful trees on display through the 2010 holiday season.

November 2009 Gerald R. Ford Museum Christmas on the Grand

Decorating the Christmas Tree
Our beautiful tree will be on display at the Gerald R. Ford Museum, Grand Rapids, Michigan from November 19, 2009 until January 4, 2010.

Official lighting of the Christmas Trees will be Thursday November 19, 2009 at 7:30 pm.

Thanks to our State Board members H. Werner, P. DeHaan, J. Hull, B.J. Leman, J. Mulso and J. Quinn for putting the tree together. A special thanks to P. Quinn for his help on the tree - what would we do without husbands!

Decorating the Tree

It takes a crew to accomplish our tasks and some of us really get into our work. Thanks Pat for your help. The day was filled with decorations and busy workers that ended with a wonderful tree.
