What's New at Muskegon? 2006

12th
-Many "behind the scenes" updates to
links and email addresses. Thanks to all that have enst me updated information.
July
30th
-Added a new page of pictures from
1926 and 1929 of the Mouth of White River School
-it is listed in a box under Muskegon History titled Muskegon School Information
on the main page. These were sent by Karen Ray, daughter of Eleanor Framke
hoping that viewers would help in identifying some people in the pictures.
Thanks to Karen and Eleanor for sharing these with us! Anyone out there
that can help ID those in the pictures?
-I also moved the other school related
pages to the same box in the History section to keep them
organized together.
-I had a message from Cindy Krueger-
Web Development Manager History, Arts and Libraries for Michigan. She was
kind enough to sned me the updated info on the Michigan Archives and Library.
The new info has been added to the Libraries and
Resources page. Thanks to Cindy!
-As always, updated changed emails
and links. Thanks to those that have let me know of changes!

- Added Susie
Errington's 1880 Diary. Susie was from Battle Creek, Michigan, but
the Diary was written whil attending school, then teaching in Muskegon.
A BIG thanks to Myra Herron for transcribing and sharing the diary with
us!!
- Many behind the scenes updates have

a collaboration between Hackley Public Library and the Muskegon County
Museum" to the Links page. Lots of great old
pictures of Muskegon!
