Lauretta Ann (Zagaroli) Barnhill, died on September 4, 1996 at her home in North Muskegon. She had lived in Muskegon all of her life and had been an out standing member of her community until her death. She was a teacher for twenty-seven years and was very well known in the Muskegon Public School system.
She was born on December 20, 1938 in Muskegon to the parents of Angeline and Charles Zagaroli. Charles M. died on Sept. 10, 1993. Lauretta's daughter, Marissa Lynn Barnhill, was killed in a car accident in early March of 1980.
Lauretta is survived by her
husband, mother, three sons and daughter-in-law.
A rose once grew where all
could see,
sheltered beyond a garden
wall.
And, as the days passed swiftly
by,
it spread its branches, straight
and tall...
One day, a beam of light shone
through
a crevice that had opened
wide ~
The rose bent gently toward
its warmth
then passed beyond to the
other side...
Now, you who deeply feel its
loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms
there ~
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by God's own loving
care.
My name is Charles Barnhill, I am 16 years old and thought this would be a great opportunity to have a small tribute about the death of my mother.
