	Who Are We?

Can Anyone Identify this Group of Young Ladies?

This is a photo of my great grandmother (Margaret Fitzpatrick), her sister (Elizabeth Fitzpatrick) and many other women who appear to be in a string orchestra of some sort.

We are certain it was taken in Muskegon where my great grandmother and her siblings were born and raised. We estimate the year to be around 1895.

The Fitzpatrick sisters are each marked with an X in the photo. Margaret is on the left and Elizabeth is on the right. The piece of music propped in front of the ladies says "Inspiration from Heaven". The Fitpatrick girls were members of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Muskegon.

I know nothing about this group and didn't even know the photo existed until recently. My great-grandmother didn't talk about being in such a group.

I thought that other researchers with Muskegon grandmothers might enjoy it and perhaps someone will know something about the group.
