NEW PUBLICATIONS
To celebrate Alpena county's 150th birthday, the society has published a book "ALPENA COUNTY SESQUICENTENNIAL" containing histories of the county, city and each township, also past and present organizations, who helped sponser the book. The book also contains about 490 biographies and pictures of families and people that lived in Alpena county at during the period between 1857 and 2007. This hard cover book is now available at $53 with shipping anywhere in the U.S. for an additional $6.95. Also we reprinted "SMUGGLERS OF THUNDER BAY" a soft cover booklet first printed in the early 1900s. A declaration at the beginning of the book states "The names have been changed to protect the guilty" this is available at $7 and our regular publication shipping rates.
