The Northville Genealogical Society was organized on 24 June 1987 and meets in downtown Northville. We meet at 1:15 for Genealogy Roundtable Discussions, followed by the general meeting at 2:30 p.m.
Meetings are held on the second Sunday of the month (unless noted) in the Carlos Meeting Room of the Northville District Library (212 W. Cady Street, 248-349-3020). We warmly welcome visitors and prospective new members.

Civil War - Order Military Service and Pension Records from the National Archives (NARA)
Reproduction of the complete pension application file (up to 100 pages) based on Federal (not State or Confederate) military service during the Civil War or later. It includes the Pension Documents Packet and all other information of an official or personal nature in the file. If the file exceeds 100 pages, you will receive a form and instructions to order copies of the remaining pages. Fee: $75 (includes shipping and handling)

Northville volunteers offer individual genealogy help in the Local History Room of the Northville District Library (lower level) from 1 - 3 pm on Monday afternoons and by appointment. June, July and August are appointment only.
The Michigan Passenger and Crew List Database is available at no charge to our members as a result of taking part in the World Archives Project sponsored by Ancestry.com. Northville Genealogical Society members have been given a password to enter the site on Ancestry.com and search it. If you have forgotten the password, please contact Pat.
