The Local History & Genealogy Collection

at the Northville District Library

The Northville Genealogical Society has donated many books and research documents to the Library. These and other research materials are available for reference only in the Local History Room. They may not be checked out of the library. Below is a little tour of what you will find there:

These are now online and may be found at this address: http://history.northville.lib.mi.us/ When you have selected the item(s) you wish to review, use the REQUEST LOCAL HISTORY SOURCE command to print your request. Please submit your request to the Librarian at the Reference Desk, who will retrieve the requested materials.

The Northville Record on Microfilm

The entire run of The Northville Record from its first publication in 1869 to the present is available on microfilm. Indexes have been compiled up to 1927.
