Henry Shields, 66, died Friday, October 10 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Mr. Shields was born July 28, 1914 in Gaylord and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was living in Quadrozzi's Adult Foster Care Home since 1964. Funeral services for Mr. Shields were held Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. from the Nelson Funeral Home, the Rev. Charles Warren officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Gaylord. He is survived by one brother, Robert of Battle Creek; five sisters, Lillian Edges of Green Bay, Wis., Edith Merriman of Lincoln Park, Ethel Plummer of San Diego, Calif., Ruth Ingles of Dearborn, Florenece Anderson of Green Bay Wis. Mr. Shields was in state at the Nelson Funeral Home.
