Marriage at Pickford

Joseph Maltas and Miss Lottie Daley were joined in wedlock, at the home of the bride's parents, at Pickford, Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Maltas was for a number of years in the employ of Fred R. Price in this city, but for some months has been conducting a drug store of his own at Pickford.

Popular Young Couple Wedded

Fred Green and Miss Clara Wilson were united in marriage at the residence of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wilson at Pickford, Wednesday evening, by the Rev. H. Hagahay. - - -

Wedded at Detour

Miss Myrtle Martin, of Stalwart, and Donald Smith, the popular landlord of the Huron House, Detour were united in marriage Wednesday night, and have since been receiving the gradulation of many friends.

Pickford (Special Correspondence)

On Wednesday at noon, Miss Alvina Crawford, daughter of William Crawford of Pickford, was married to Francis H. Ferris of Stalwart, at her home, by Rev. S. L. Clark. They were attended by Miss Ida McConkey and William Crawford. After the ceremony, and congratulations ad bounteous wedding dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Crawford are going to Stalwart where they will make their future home.

Pickford (Special Correspondence)

John Olmstead of Detour and Miss Gracie Blackmer of Pickford were married by Rev. S. L. Clark at the manse, on Friday evening Feb 24. Mr. and Mrs Olmstead left Sunday for Detour, where they will make their home for a time.

Miss Janet Melvin of this place and Ernest Sims, of Stalwart were married at the residence of the bride's sister Mrs. Ludlow Seamon, at noon Wednesday, March 8, by the Rev. S. LeClarke, of Pickford, formerly pastor of the Presbyterian church of Detour of which Mrs. Melvin's mother, the late Mrs. Hugh Melvin, was a member. - - - - -.

Clarke of Pickford, performed the ceremony. Mrs. Wm. Mitchell was the bridesmaid and T.M.Crichton officiated as best man. The newly wedded couple are well known - - - They will reside at Schlesser.
