An applicant for membership shall be no less than 18 years of age and shall prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who, through military, civil, or patriotic service, aided in achieving American Independence. For further details about eligibility, additional information about types of civil or patriotic service, and/or becoming a member of NSDAR, please contact the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution home page.
