Hi-Speed Gas Station When the US27 Expressway opened many small gas station along the route of the old highway closed. This one, on the corner of Washington Street and Main Street, is gone. The site is now occupied by a Seven-Eleven convenience store. You can even read the US27 and M46 highway markers on this picture. Notice the partial exposure of an automobile on the far side of the pumps on this timed exposure.
