"Brockway - Mrs. Elizabeth Quain died Saturday, May 23. She was the widow of the late William Quain, and was
born in the county of Limerick, Ireland, 69 years ago. She settled in Emmett township in 1852, on the same farm
where she died. She raised a family of 10 children, six of who survive her. The funeral was held Monday, May 25,
from her late residence at 9 a.m. and from St. Joseph's church, Brockway at 9:30 o'clock, where requiem mass was
celebrated." (incomplete?)

"Richmond, March 28 - Mrs. Barbara Quinkert, 73, who operated a dry cleaning establishment here with her sister,
Mrs. Faith Grey, died Thursday in her home, 67758 South forest, after a long illness. She was born in St. Clair,
daughter of the late Jacob and Christine Stommel. She and her husband, John, came to Richmond from Detroit in 1945.
He died shortly after they arrived here. Surviving her are two brothers, Joseph, of St. Clair, and Peter, of Ypsilanti,
and four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Kessel, Cleveland, O.; Mrs. Gerturde Zaetsch, Algonac; Mrs. Tresa Bowman, Pontiac,
and Mrs. Grey, Richmond, Remains are in the Clifford D. Hensch funeral home. A prayer service will be held there
at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with funeral services to follow at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine's Catholic church. Rev. C. J.
Wettstein, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Detroit. Rosary devotions will
be held at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home."

"Wales Township - Mrs. Wava K. Quinn, 59, of 1995 Goodells Road, Wales Township, died Friday in an auto accident.
Mrs. Quinn was born Dec., 2, 1914, in Wales Township. She was a lifelong resident of the township. Mrs. Quinn was
employed as a cost account for Empire Tool Company in Memphis for 10 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs.
Bette Brackenbury, Goodells; three Grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Frank B. Click, Goodells. Funeral services
will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home, with Rev. Lloyd Mooney, pastor of the First Baptist
Church of Goodells, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The remains are in the Arthur Smith Funeral
Home. Memorials may be made to the Big Brothers of St. Clair County."
