"A very pleasant wedding took place Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac
C. Horton on the Plank road, when their only daughter, Agnes, was united to Mr. Harry Jackson, of this city, in
the presence of 30 invited guests. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. A. Beamer, with Miss Minnie Biddlecomb
as bridesmaid and Mr. George Davis as groomsman. The presents were many and handsome, and the young couple commence
life with many evidences of the love and affection of their friends and relatives. After the ceremony the company
adjourned to the spacious dining room, where the tables were loaded..."

Guardian. Sarah Johnson, an old woman who for some time has been under the care
of a guardian as an incompetent person, eluded the latter Saturday. She was
taken charge of by a policeman Sunday night and returned to the care of her
guardian."

"Six Months in Jail. The county judge of Sarnia on Friday last sentenced Chas. Johnston to six months in the
central prison at Toronto. Johnston pleaded guilty to marrying Catherine Engert, of Marine City, on July 8, 1889,
and afterwards deserting her. On May 28, 1894, he married Bertha Miller, at Walkerport, Canada."
