forum for searching for lost but living relatives.
Some thoughts on
Posting:
When you are posting to the boards remember,
you want others to be able to read what you have posted with ease.
It's very difficult to read messages in ALL CAPS
or in all lower case with no
punctuation. So, please keep your messages in lower case,
using caps as normal (i.e., at the beginning of sentences; for proper
nouns; etc.) and using standard English sentence structure. You
may, however, wish to list surnames in all caps to focus attention on
them.

I spent many of my
childhood and early adult years in the St. Clair County area, attending
school in Capac, Yale and Port Huron. I also spent many happy childhood
years on the shores of Gitchee Gumee in the land of Hiawatha.
My interest in St. Clair County derives from the
fact that I have ancestral roots in the county.
My name is Kathleen and I am your St.
Clair County MIGenWeb site coordinator. If you find any broken links on
these pages or if you have information to contribute for this web site, please email me.
I really encourage sharing information on these pages. After all,
sharing is the only way that any of us have any of our ancestral
information.
As you browse these pages
please be aware that I no longer live in Michigan and
I have no lookup materials available to me. I am not able to assist you
with your research. Everything I have is posted somewhere on
this site, so if you email me with requests for information or lookup services
you you will get little more than a quick
note of regret.
If you need help locating information try the Lookups
page for a list of volunteers, the Resources page
for a wide variety of information and materials or any of the links to
the left or right for a wealth of information. Additionally, consider joining
the mailing list, below, to connect with other researchers.
