CHRISTY, Kernol and Leslie

Title: "To Be Buried in One Grave"
Subtitle: "Funeral of Christy Boys will be Held at Algonac on Sunday"

"Kernol and Leslie Christy, the two Marine City young men who lost their lives when the steamer Argus <actually Hydrus> went to the bottom, will be buried in one grave at Algonac on Sunday afternoon.  The remains will arrive in this city from Kincardine and will be met here by Undertaker Gilbert of Algonac.  The funeral services will be held at the Episcopal Church at Algonac on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 and will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Mitchell.  The bodies of the drowned sailors were accompanied to this city by the father and brother-in-law who have been searching the shore in the vicinity of Kincardine and Goderich for days.  Their patience and search was rewarded, for a few days ago the bodies of the Christy boys came ashore in the vicinity of Kincardine.  Many Marine City people will attend the funeral service."
