LANGOLF, Francis

Francis Henry Langolf, a resident of Dunsmuir, died of natural causes at his home on September 28, 2002. He was 83.

He was born November 17, 1918 in Port Huron, Michigan and moved to Siskiyou County from Santa Cruz in 1999.

Francis was a machine repairman for Folsom Cordova School District. He was a veteran of the US Army during World War II, and a member of New Life Christian Assembly Church.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Langolf of Dunsmuir; a son, James H. Langolf of Waynesboro, Virginia; daughters, Mary Blodget of Sacramento, Marth Grace Thurman of Miliani, Hawaii, and Leah Ann Melvin of Dunsmuir; sisters, Ruth deJon of Sarasota, Florida, Jean Bockwell and Shirley Diller, both of Port Huron, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 3rd, at 11 a.m. at New Life Christian Assembly Church in Mount Shasta with Brad Cosway officiating.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 5th at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks.
