Sally Romelia (Parmenter) Jillson

This is my great-great-grandmother, Sally Romelia (Parmenter)
Jillson. She was born May 13, 1845 in Rodman, Jefferson Co., NY and
died
Aug. 1, 1922 in South Haven. She was the daughter of Abraham L. and
Lucy
(Gardner) Parmenter. Sally, who was known by her middle name of
Romelia,
married Alden Jillson of New York on Dec. 18, 1865. Romelia and Alden
moved
to the South Haven area in 1877 where they located on a farm South of
the
Law Schoolhouse. They had three children: Bertha A. Jillson, Burleigh
A.
Jillson and Arthur Burley Jillson. Romelia is buried in Lakeview
Cemetery, South Haven.
