• Extensive card catalog of obituraies, biographies, newspaper articles, books, photographs, etc.
• All the cemeteries in BEC are transcribed into a database
• Shoemaker's and Polk's directories from 1871 to 1994
• Atlases from 1874 to 1990
• Mankato and BEC newspapers, church, cemetery, and funeral home records
• Various books on family histories, churches, yearbooks, phonebooks, and the like
• State of Minnesota Census records (1865 - 1905)
• Federal Census records (1870 - 1920)
• Online cemetary index

Hours: Tuesday 10 AM - 12 PM, 1 PM - 4 PM, & 5 PM - 8 PM
Wednesday - Saturday 10 AM - 12 PM & 1 PM - 4 PM
Closed Sunday and Monday

Use of the research library is free to BECHS members or a $3.00 per day fee to non-members.
Photocopies are 25 cents each.
For those who are unable to visit the Heritage Center, fees are $20.00 per hour plus copying charges.
