Special book available: I have recently obtained an old book from an auction in Rush City. Chisago County Minnesota in the World War is the title. It was published in March, 1920 by The Chisago County War History Committee. It is black with an eagle on the front of it. I found only two for sale on the internet at $135.00 each. One was in a little book store in Harris, MN called Log Cabin Books. If you know any one that may be interested in purchasing this book from me could you please give them my email address. The book is in very good shape and could probably be of good use to someone.

My name is Terry Koberstein and I am the new County Coordinator for Chisago County.  I am also the Coordinator for  Lincoln County and Lyon County, all in South West Minnesota.  I would like to thank Ron Zurek and Carl C. Bloomquist for  their many, many hours of research and volunteer time used to build and maintain this Chisago County Web site through August 2002 for your family research.
