WALTER FREDERICK WEIS, 81, of Windom, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001; born on Jan. 14, 1920, he was the son of Nicolas and Marie Ring Weis. He married Betty Kadus Sept. 26, 1944; survived his wife; one son, Dean Weis, Windom, three daughters, Joan (Tom) Klett, White Bear Lake, Barbara Wise, Aurora, Colo., Nancy (Clint) Rose, South St. Paul; two sisters, Lillian Norstegard, Westbrook, Evelyn Atkins (Eddie), Walnut Grove; and five grandchildren; burial in the Westbrook Cemetery (abstract Worthington Daily Globe)
