The MNLGAR Preserves and Promotes the Memory of Our Civil War Union Veterans
- Decorating Civil War Union Veterans' graves, and wreath laying at the Civil War Memorial Monument in Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, Meeker County, Minnesota. for Memorial Day.

- Particpating in the Litchfield City Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Service at Ripley Cemetery.

- Maintaining the Civil War Memorial Monument and surrounding landscape in Ripley Cemetery.

- Supplying plantings for the LGAR urn in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Renovation of the Ripley Cemetery Civil War Memorial Monument
The MNLGAR had the base of the statue stabilized and renovated to further preservation. It is now in top form for the rededication of the monument on Memorial Day in 2009.
