There must have been upwards of two hundred burials here, among them Dr. P.E. The land was given by Styrk Gjernes and Ole Berland, each about one acre. Though these cemeteries were separate the land adjoined. Later on, after the Trinity Church dissolved and the members joined Rushford Lutheran, the two were made into one larger cemetery.
