Goodhue County is situated in the southeastern part of the
State of Minnesota. It's borders are bound by: due west is Rice County; southwestern tip is
Steele County; directly south is Dodge County; on the southeastern corner
border is Olmstead County; on
the on the eastern border is Wabasha County; on the northeastern border is the
Mississippi River and Pierce County, Wisconsin; due east is
Pepin County, Wisconsin; and on the north/northwestern corner is
Dakota
