I am looking for information on Gordon B. Sanders. Gordon was born on August 12, 1905 in Deep River, Iowa (I think).He was a lawyer. He was married to Gertrude A., (I don`t know her last name). Seeking descendants of John or Thomas Murphy who lived in Minneapolis, MN prior to 1945. Their brother, James lived in Montgomery. All are the children of Michael Murphy (d.1878, Le Sueur Co) and Mary E. Thornton. Mary E. remarried in 1879 to Michael Lavery (resided Lake Volney ?Le Sueur) and there are Lavery half-sibs of the Murphy brothers. John, Thomas and James had uncles who lived in MN. Martin lived in Minneapolis at the time of his death (1889). Moses Murphy lived in St. Thomas, Le Sueur Co. MN. There may also have been a uncle Frank, Mpls.

Searching for any information regarding Jacob MEINZER and his family. He lived in Minneapolis, Hennepin Co, MN ca. 1920 to 1934, d. Feb. 1934. He married Rhoda WILLIAMS and they had two sons Russell and Lloyd, one daughter Mrs. G.P. FIRKS. I am looking for descendants for Alan K. Bolton and Ida Esther (Hoover) Bolton who lived in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN in 1968. Would like copy of Alan K. Bolton obituary from the Minneapolis Newspaper. It is believed that he died in April 1974. In 1968 he lived at 4013 Kipling Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55416. His wife was Ida Esther (Hoover) Bolton and was still living at this time. She went by Esther. Alan Bolton had completed some genealogy research on Esther's grandfather's sister relatives (my family line). The two families lost contact and Alan's research has been lost on my family line. Hi there, I am trying to determine if there is an index to the naturalization records done in Hennepin cty. I have searched the alien registration, and of course, they did not register! Grandpa could not read. I am trying to find my grandmothers naturalization record so I can locate the ship record. She would have be naturalized after 1920 possibly not til my grandfather died in 1943. But I would like to know what is available. A search of the Historical Society info on line turned up nothing. Researching the Charles F. WILKINS family in Minneapolis in 1870s/1880s. Charles maintained the barber shop and baths in the 1st National Bank Bldg. The family lived on Nicollet Island. Some family members later moved to Chicago where they are found in the City Directory certainly by 1897 if not before. WILKINS m. Estelle GRIFFIN ca.1870; it was a second marriage. I am trying to find out more about Augusta Ringer (1853-1884) who married Ruthven Baker Thompson and had two children, Arthur Rollin Thompson and Elsie Maude Thompson. I am also looking for Gussie's granddaughter's grave. Her name Jane Thompson who married Benjamin Franklin Nelson. She was born Oct. 26, 1908 (plus or minus a year) and died in the 1970's sometime. The rest of the family was buried at Lakewood Cemetery, but she may be in a Catholic cemetery instead.

Hi, I am trying to locate a record of my mother's marriage to another man and possible birth of a baby girl to them prior to her marriage to my father. Her name was Eva Angeline (or possibly Evangeline) Bauer. Her birth date was 9/16/94 in Marshfield, Wis. She died on 8/3/70 in St. Paul, Minn. Her marriage to my father, Peter Beno Schulte, took place in St. Paul, Minn. on 5/30/20, I believe, so the previous marriage would have been two to three years before that, maybe more. I think the first marriage took place in Hennepin County in Minneapolis. Can you tell me where I might find this record and how I would go about getting a copy of it. I did write to Hennepin County requesting a search but they returned my check with small notations that no record was found. I still have relatives in St. Paul and visit there occasionally so I could go somewhere to look this up, if I just knew where to go. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
