I am doing some family research and would like to know if anyone has
some information on the following individuals. Harold Arnold CHRISTENSEN
was born in the Twin Cities area between 1894 and 1900. His mother's
name was Christine PETERSEN or PETERSON and his father's name was Emilius
CHRISTENSEN. Emilius is the latinized version of his first name and I am
not sure what his "true" name is. I know that Emilius and Christine also
had at least another son named Walter CHRISTENSEN. Harold CHRISTENSEN
was married to Gertrude Marie GROSSMAN in June 1923, and they were
divorced several years later. Harold was a car salesman; after he and
Gertrude were divorced, he lived for awhile in Viriginia before returning
to the Twin Cities area. Harold CHRISTENSEN was my grandfather and
Walter CHRISTENSEN is my great-uncle. Any information would be
appreciated.

I need
to find the name of an archived newspaper from 1905 that might contain
information on the marriage of George A. Bigelow to Elsie C. Hedstrom.
They filled out a marriage application on April 4, 1905 in the Hennepin
County Courthouse. If the town of Buffalo, Minnesota is in Hennepin
County, and had a newspaper at the time, then *that* is the newspaper I
need. Also, if you do small geneology errands such as this, let me know
and we can work something out. Thanks.

I'm
looking for any information on the children, siblings, parents,
grandparenta
etc. of an Amos Willett Gray from the Hennepin County area.
From what I've been told 'Gray's Bay' near Minneapolis (Minnetonka)
is named after Amos W. Gray or his parents, etc.
Amos W. Gray appears to be one of many children of whom I know nothing.
In addition he and his wife, Susan A. Chowen, appeared to have 11
children
of which I know of only 1 - Ernest W. Gray - who is my
Great Grandfather.
Amos W. Gray apprently established the first flour mill in
Glencoe, MN and served in Co. B 11th Infantry Commissary Dept.

I'm
looking for information on the parents, brothers,
sisters, etc. of my great-great-grandfather Amos Willett Gray.
According to the information I have he was born in Duchess Co,
NY on 8/29/1824, married a Susan A. Chowen on 5/30/1847 in
Luzerne Co. PA, and moved to Minnesota sometime after 1852.
According to my information he built the first flour mill in
Glencoe, MN (date unknown). I've been told that Gray's Bay
in Hennepin Co, MN is named after either Amos Willett Gray
or some other ancestor of my family.
The Minnesota Land Records indicate that an Amos Gray purchased
140 acres of land in January 1856 (Minneapolis office) but
I can't decipher the information in the record to determine
where (e.g. what city, county, etc.) the parcel was located.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
